You might be seeking support for a specific struggle or, you are noticing you do not feel quite right within yourself and would love someone to authentically listen and support you in trying to find clarity. I will provide a safe therapeutic space where you feel comfortable to partake in free-flowing conversations.

People always say listen to your gut but sometimes the brain takes over and we are left in turmoil. I will encourage you to reconnect with your gut and explore your feelings and life experiences together to discover what they mean to you.

We will work with what you bring to each session. You may begin with one struggle and it may lead to something else. Or you might be feeling good about something and that is also great to talk about.

At Caring Conversations Therapy, I believe that everyone has the ability to lead a fulfilling life. we have all had unfortunate life experiences no matter how big or small you feel they are, they are all important. Those experiences have impacted who we are today. I would like to hear how life has been for you, talking in a confidential space can be the release you need, and security for exploration to support your personal growth.
Some people partake in therapy to prevent breaking point, and feel it assists them with recognising when life is getting a bit tough and how they can manage this but to also acknowledge what they feel is going well. To reflect on their personal growth.
I have completed a BA HONS degree in person-centered counselling
I have volunteered for a local charity supporting clients either short or long term with life after abuse.
I also have experience working for North Norfolk Primary Care, providing listening support within GP surgeries with patients living with many issues.

If you feel I am the right fit for you each session will be £45 per 50 minute session.
Counselling is usually weekly however, we can discuss how often you would like sessions in our initial phone call.
lastly and most importantly there is no obligation after our initial chat. I want you to find the right counsellor for you.

I will aim to get back to you within 24 hours between 09.00 - 18.00 Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
There is no obligation to book a full session straight away. I will call or email you back and we can decide a day and time that suits us both to get to know one and other and to discuss why you would like counselling.
The focus of this phone call is for you to establish if you would like to work with me, and also for myself to establish if I feel I am the correct counsellor for you. If i do feel this is the case I will refer another counsellor to you.
I will ask the following questions:
· Why would you like counselling?
· What are you looking for in a counsellor?
· Have you experienced counselling before, if so do you feel worked well for you and what do you feel did not work for you?
· How many sessions do you feel you would like and how frequent? (This does not need to be a definitive answer)
· I will explain more about myself and how we would potentially work together. Also, assess from my part if I feel I can support you.
· The phone call will end with checking in to see how you feel about potentially working together and to answer any other questions you may have.
Prior to our first session I will email over our working agreement for you to read through and see if you are happy with it, or to see if you feel anything else should be added.
Our first session will last an hour to give us 10 minutes to discuss the agreement ensuring we are both comfortable with this. The price of the session will remain at £45.
This is quite difficult to write. Because everyone is different I will facilitate your individual requirements. If you wish to start expressing what your wanting to discuss straight away we can. If we need to go at a slower pace, we will and we can discuss why you feel you are here but not go into too much detail. or we can simply speak about how you are feeling right at this moment in time.
This is completely up to you. It is ok to say you don't know. we will take it a session at a time
During sessions, if I feel we could be coming to an end, I will also open that conversation up and I encourage you to do the same.
Likewise if you feel that our sessions are not the right fit for you anymore, that's ok, Only one week's notice is required.
